Apple is looking for a highly motivated mechanical engineer with finite element analysis (FEA) expertise to join the Mac Silicon Integration team. The Mac Silicon Integration team works to seamlessly integrate world-class SOCs (system on a chip) into the next generation of computers. You will be part of a cross-functional design team responsible for conceiving, designing, evaluating, and producing exciting new products based on Apple silicon. Through analysis you will help to optimize those designs and understand/mitigate their potential failure modes due to thermal and mechanical loads.
Key Qualifications
You will be part of a cross-functional design team responsible for conceiving, designing, evaluating, and producing exciting new products based on Apple silicon. Through analysis you will help to optimize those designs and understand/mitigate their potential failure modes due to thermal and mechanical loads.
Computer industry experience not required; serious consideration will be given to qualified candidates from medical, consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace or other fields with relevant technology and development models.
Education & Experience
MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, or similar preferred
