Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join the Ethernet Customer Solutions (ECS) team in our Ethernet Products Group (EPG) as a Product Applications Engineering Manager.

This position will be part of a Global Engineering organization supporting the latest Intel Ethernet technology and applying it to solve tomorrow's Cloud, Telco, and Enterprise networking problems. In your role as a Product Applications Engineering Manager, you will be leading a team supporting Intel's largest customers to design-in and qualify solutions based on Intel Ethernet products. You'll be working with the latest Ethernet technology and applying it to solve tomorrow's cloud, Telco, and enterprise networking problems. You will enable design wins, support the customer through the design-in phase, provide software development and debug support, and own the resolution of technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Direct activities in applications engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost.

- Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms and behaviors.

- Identify and analyze problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.

- Provide guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.

- Plan and schedule daily tasks.

- Use judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.

- Reduce cycle time for customer validation and improve outgoing quality through automation of testing.

- Define metrics/indicators and establish data-driven Strategic Objectives for the team.

- Establishing strong working partnerships with internal and external teams.

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or

- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or

- PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of related work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- 4 plus years of experience in networking protocols and Cloud Infrastructure.

- 4 plus years of experience with Ethernet products and experience with development, validation, and/or support for ethernet products.

- 4 plus years of demonstrated experience leading teams of 5-10 engineers to be highly effective and customer orientated.

- 3 plus years of experience working on small, focused teams to complete critical milestones under pressure with tight deadlines.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or higher.

- Experience in Enterprise server and storage systems validation.

- Experience creating and implementing automated and autonomous build and test ecosystems for supporting diverse customer deliverables.
