Job Summary:

Work remotely! Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will report to the Domestic Acquisitions Solutions (DAS) Senior Manager and be responsible for the overall subcontract management activities associated with suppliers in support of the Energetics Department, which manages the following technologies: Warheads, Radar Electronics, Batteries, Fuzes, Pyros, Composites, and Containers. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic growth oriented environment that supports a broad portfolio of programs across multiple Mission Areas.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Manage Supplier Relationship, Development and Performance
  • Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP, financial requirements and metrics; Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.
  • Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical as well as quality) to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects
  • Perform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements. Primary capabilities in subcontract management such as the following will be needed:
  • Preparation of all manner of solicitations, RFQs, RFPs, RFI, IDIQ and follow thru with analyzing quotation/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques. Developing negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)
  • Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems
  • Travel to Raytheon and supplier facilities as deemed necessary and appropriate to conduct business

Qualifications you Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience

Qualifications We Value:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance or related field
  • Efficient and knowledge of SAP and other procurement tools.
  • DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) ability to place POs over TINA dollar threshold ($2M)
  • Experience leading formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements, i.e., Terms and Conditions, Pay terms)
  • Experience placing a PO of medium to high complexity and process a high volume of POs
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously and meeting team performance cadence
  • Ability to understand technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
