As a procurement manager you would lead teams to support commodity procurement and be responsible for driving strategic and operational elements of the business. You would own aspects of this commodity space and would lead and mentor a team of global supply managers, acting as a key interface between global commodity specialists, WW Materials, strategic suppliers and Apple contract manufacturers. For this role you will need a proactive work ethic, strong relationship-building skills, sharp analytical skills, strategic thinking, expert interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, the ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years in a procurement-focused or supply chain related role
• Experience and skill in negotiating, business math, contracting, report building, and supply base research
• Able to build presentations and spreadsheets utilizing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Keynote

Description
Leading the development and implementation of supply and capacity agreements with suppliers to enable successful launch of all Apple products
Identify potential supply issues that can affect product strategy, and present findings to senior management
Assist with global supply chain disruptions in real time, and assist with alternate source or alternate site qualifications to mitigate supply risks.
Ensure product availability on a daily basis, while managing excellent supplier flexibility, and minimizing excess inventory at the end of life of product.
Work with suppliers, contract manufactures, and Apple internal cross-functional teams to ensure precise execution of business goals and objectives
Develop and drive team to achieve established goals and objectives

Education & Experience

BS in engineering or BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
