Job Summary:


Come join the emerging field of Additive Manufacturing! This exciting field promises to revolutionize manufacturing technology and competitiveness in the marketplace. Precision Manufacturing is looking for a motivated Additive Process Engineer to join our team and become an integral part of the journey as we integrate additives into our production processes. Successful candidates will interface with the customers on producibility of additive pieces, support in house additive processes ranging from Stereolithography to Directed Energy Deposition, and develop procedures that will streamline our methods.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Creates and implements processes for additive manufacturing of metals and plastics
  • Oversight for programming and process controls
  • Provides leadership to additive operations teams
  • Advises design engineers to support material and process selection decisions.
An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience

This position can be a Process Engineer II or Sr. Process Engineer I based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, and responsibility requirements for the position.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Process Engineer II:
  • Bachelors Degree required in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) Preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Additive Manufacturing Operations or related fields.
  • Experience working with multiple customers, levels of leadership and across functional disciplines.
  • Experience working with CAD Software (ProE, Creo, Solidworks).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Sr. Process Engineer I:
  • Bachelors Degree required in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) Preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Additive Manufacturing Operations or related fields
  • Prior experience with mechanical testing, producibility engineering and/or metallography.
  • Cooperative engineering experience with demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Industry Specifications pertaining to additive manufacturing.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
