Overview: Test Director (TD) is responsible for the day-to-day preparation for and execution of various radar and Combat System test activities, reporting/resolution of issues, and assessment of system and interface requirements. TD must have very strong leadership skills. TD reports to the SPY-6 Combat System Integration I&T Lead.

Job Description : Test Director Responsibilities: The Test Director (TD) is the point of contact (POC) for the planning, conducting and reporting of all test and demonstration activities. TD leads the creation, review and release of the Raytheon Test Procedures which requires previous experience in those activities. TD coordinates the timeline, go/no-go calls and interdependencies in radar and system level test procedures and must understand the system operation, functional timeline and combat system interdependencies. TD represents Raytheon at all test planning coordination forums, readiness reviews, pre-test go/no-go calls and post-test hot wash briefings. TD is responsible for Raytheon readiness reviews, test team training, dry run, dress rehearsal and hot run execution of the Raytheon test procedures. TD (in conjunction with the I&T Lead) is responsible for the Raytheon go/no-go calls during all test events and should have previous experience in leading test teams in the execution of mission critical test events and making high-impact, real-time decisions. TD collaborates with I&T Lead to provide on-site, real time information and advises on and understands the impact of a go or no-go decision upon program objectives. TD leads the development, review and release of the post-event reports.
Required Education: Bachelors degree in engineering, science or related curriculum
