The System Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate is responsible for integration, test, and validation activities for RMD programs. SI&T employees provide the expertise to ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools, and techniques. SI&T employees are involved in all aspects of test including design-for-test, integration, subsystem and component level testing, and sell-off of RMDs most sophisticated systems and technologies. Our System Engineers collaborate with other RMD Engineering disciplines from development of initial system concepts to product sell-off. We integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and test system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer.

Job Summary
The Systems Integration Test and Evaluation (SITE) Department within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate is interested in an experienced senior engineer to serve as the System Test Lead for the Radar Test Contract (RTC) Open Systems Architecture Signal Injector (OSI) Program in Huntsville, Alabama. Lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers to achieve integration and test objectives, Integration and Test planning, development, and execution to support system-level requirements sell-off for the program.

Responsible for program compliance with systems engineering IV&V processes. Establishes the program IV&V organization, schedule, and milestones together with the Integrated Product Lead (IPT), Chief Analyst (CA) and Cross Product Team Lead (CPT).

Responsibilities to Anticipate

Management of weekly test scheduling, coordinating priorities with leads and program, maintain weekly JIRA stories, develop test metrics and reports from JIRA database.

Oversee and/or previous experience developing/updating Plans and Procedures, experience creating VCRMs, developing scenarios, performing system checkout and execution.
Manage or perform HW and SW install and check-out at deployable sites (SBX, ARC, STARS).
Process planning for testing OSI/OSF upgrades, how to exercise the equipment, and receive data back to analyze. Perform and Lead Maintenance Release Testing (MRT) for corrections made to SW to include deployed software enhancements, change, or migrated to other hardware, Formal Qualification Testing (FQT) and Patch Release Testing (PRT). Previous Agile experience, scrum master or product owner.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree (Masters) and minimum 6 years prior relevant experience. Relevant experience includes Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification and Validation experience for Department of Defense systems. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Radar programs including prior leadership experience.
  • Prior leadership experience with cross-disciplinary teams to coordinate multi-faceted technical, logistic, and security operations in a complex multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present data and explain results to subcontractors, senior level executives and customers.
  • Experience leading teams for developing test plans and procedures and system Integration and Test.
  • Familiarity with principles and methodologies to support developing and conducting tests in laboratories and field environments.
  • This role requires knowledge of hardware, software, configuration, and operations of a hardware in the loop simulation facility. Experience interfacing with internal or external customers and finding technical solutions to complex user requirements.
  • Must have an active Secret US security clearance. Occasional business travel is required.
