Raytheon Technologies, Supply Chain has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. If you enjoy a high level activity and interacting with others come join our international procurement and subcontracts team as a Procurement Specialist. In this position you will play a critical role in supporting international supplier identification, development and maintenance processes as well as reporting and data management including: design, testing, implementing and maintaining solution. As the focal point for interface and communications between internal customers and suppliers you will drive significant interaction and collaboration with teams to assure the management of the suppliers critical path and program milestones. You will leverage your organizational skills to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
Responsibilities include:
Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Managing Supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones
Strategic planning while supporting daily tactical and detailed activities
May be required to participate in supplier development activity
Review drawings, specifications and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy.
Prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers, follow-up to assure understanding.
Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans / strategies as well as addressing any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes or Raytheon terms and conditions requirements.
Formally document purchase orders including details of summary of award; source justification; price analysis methodology; negotiation strategy and summary; performance to budget / target; and risk assessment.
Perform routine post-award management activities including PO acknowledgement, delivery status (upkeep PO notes), expedites, risk mitigation, receiving issues and invoice issues.
Required Skills:
Minimum 6 years relevant experience.
DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Negotiation and proposal experience in the areas as described above.
Support program travel needs to visit supplier as needed.
US citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Experience with production hardware, bearings and hydraulic assemblies
Working knowledge of Exostar
Expertise in ITAR and FAR regulations
Knowledge and experience in high dollar procurement requirements
Computer proficiency (emphasis in Microsoft Office Suite)
Experience with MRP systems/processes, driving material requirements
Negotiations experience
Experience in setting up strategic contracts and long term agreements
Experience in the use, employment and requirements of various subcontract types including but not limited to T&M, Labor Hour, FFP, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF
Ability to develop and present complex ideas to executive audiences
