Job Summary: RMD Accounting organization is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join the Government Accounting team. This team member will interface regularly across all functions within RMD and with Government Audit and Management agencies. As a member of the Controllers organization, you will perform tasks that include (but not limited to):
Preparing, analyzing, and reviewing cost impacts and cost accounting changes
Preparing, analyzing and reviewing submission of adequate Annual Incurred Cost Proposals for RMD and ensuring timely submission
Responsible for the formulation and preparation of formal audit responses to DCAA/DCMA
Act as a liaison to DCAA/DCMA and respond to inquiries and audit reports
Reviewing revisions to the RMD Cost Accounting Standards Board (CASB) Disclosure Statements
Providing guidance related to disclosed practices, policies & procedures, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Compliance support for RMD and RMDs Segments/Reporting Units
Prepare and present to leadership annual CAS Testing Plan
Providing guidance related to labor efforts (NBI, Support Labor, Ethics, Material)
Reviewing requests for Special Burden material determinations
Ensuring timely updates for Booking and Billing Indirect Rates, as appropriate
Coordinating across the enterprise to align FAR/CAS interpretations, identify best practices, and supporting required Corporate Metrics
Act in a team lead capacity, to include team-member mentorship, assist in managing team tasks, etc. You will also work closely with other functional organizations, CAS Segments, and the Finance Leadership Team to ensure compliance with Raytheon policies. This position provides an excellent opportunity for networking with other RMD organizations, other Raytheon Business Units, and Corporate. Attention to detail and ensuring accuracy is vital to be successful in this role. This position requires building positive relationships with our internal and external customers
This position can be a G09 Principal or a G10 Consulting Financial Analyst with further experience and/or education.. Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other Business discipline with minimum 6+ years of Finance/Accounting or relevant experience
Strong background in defense accounting with experience in a financial discipline within that environment
Demonstrated ability to understand complex cost accounting structures, including labor bid categories, overhead pools (primary and secondary), general and administrative rates, and cost collection methodologies
Working knowledge with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Parts 30 and 31
Experience in analyzing and responding to Government audit reports and requests for information (RFIs)
Qualifications We Value:
