Job Description:

As a Raytheon Missile & Defense (RMD) Digital Technology (DT) Principle IT Strategist, you will collaborate and partner with a diverse cross-section of DT, Engineering, and Program teammates supporting Raytheon Technologies programs and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives. Reporting to the RMD DT Growth and Program Excellence (GPX) Strategic leader, serves as strategic liaison for key DT projects between key stakeholders. Partner with business and DT leadership to develop and manage strategic planning activities within business and enterprise, including identification and prioritization of strategic business initiatives, development of project roadmaps, and cross organizational alignment. Evaluate the overall portfolio of projects to ensure that the organization continues to maximize its investments in technology and reduce redundancy. This role will include the following responsibilities:

Working as an IT Project Manager within a cross program environment with a large multi-disciplined team
Align Growth and Program Excellence business targets with the Project Management lifecycle
Ensure the creation and execution of project implementation roadmaps related to the multi-mission areas
Partner closely with DT functional team members to ensure the successful implementation of business-based initiatives
Lead a matrixed team through influence to deliver solutions on time and within budget
Partner and collaborate with Systems and Solutions Integration team to infuse new technologies and services into the mission areas and enhance the use of standardized solutions
Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, lessons learned and act upon them, partnering with other teams within DT, Engineering, and other functions to realize positive outcomes
Leverage Scrum, Agile and DevOps practices in order to manage daily priorities and ensure alignment with Program Execution directorate execution needs
Support change control best practices and lead the process across all mission areas
Develop and maintain strong internal partner relationships, and advocate for their needs
Support programs and pursuits via occasional Domestic travel

Job Location: This role will be located in Andover, MA; Tewksbury, MA; or Tucson, AZ. Capped budget relocation will be available to the selected applicant if they are eligible per company policy. Capped Budget amount will be discussed at the appropriate Stage of the process.

A US DoD Secret Clearance is required for this role, except in rare cases, only US Citizens are eligible to obtain clearances.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 8+ years Information Technology experience Implementing technology projects
Strong program/project management experience (minimum of 8 years professional experience)
Experience deploying new capabilities in classified and/or unclassified processing and communications systems in an operational environment, including the modernization of legacy environments
Working knowledge of best practices in IT security
Demonstrated experience in business process development and optimization and Six Sigma
Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly articulate ideas, process steps, and technical data in written, graphical, and spoken dialogue
Knowledge of DT service management tools and deployment methodologies
Experience with Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a project status to senior management and executive audiences
An active US DoD Secret Clearance is required for this role

Desired Skills:
~~ ITIL/IT Infrastructure library certification
PMP / PRINCE II and/or PMX certification
Agile/Scrum Master Certification
Earned Value Management certification or demonstrated knowledge and use of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
Proven success working within a large multi-disciplined team and track record of adherence to cost and schedule
Demonstrated experience in Business Case Analysis and Return on Investment (ROI)
Ability to team effectively
Experience working with remote teams both domestically and internationally
High level of understanding of ITAR requirements
Curiosity, problem solving, desire to learn new skills

Required Education:

Bachelor or higher in a STEM or Business-related field (ie. Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration)

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
