Position Overview: Industrial Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) is the functional authority in Operations Engineering across the Industrial Engineering Community. The SME will focus on systemic issues, cross-factory optimization and alignment, coach/mentor, command media, and training. In addition, apply advanced problem solving techniques and lean principles to develop and optimize the manufacturing system to maximize throughput, increase efficiency and value. Furthermore, must be knowledgeable of all phases of factory life cycle; proposals, capacity planning, manpower planning, factory layout, cell/line balancing, simulation and process modeling, labor performance analysis, process mapping, and project management.
U.S Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Responsibilities:
Prioritize issues across all make centers via IE Process Council
Drive factory improvement priorities through the use of analytical tools
Lead and coordinate IE efforts and improvements across factories
Mentor/Coach team members
Coordinate factory capability needs for yield improvements and new technology
Develop and deliver training material across the discipline
Own command media across the discipline
Participate in Safety and Ergonomic improvements
Lead manufacturing objectives for cost, quality, on time delivery and safety
Support the 5-Year Strategic Roadmap (Manufacturing Technology development and maintenance)
Drive strategic evolution of the IE role
Develop strategic plan for factory space, manpower, equipment and automation
Support bids, proposals, and make/buy/where analysis

Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field and 8 (eight) years of relevant experience or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field and 6 (six) years of relevant experience
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing Principles (Process Improvement and methods optimization)
Experience with project management
U.S. Citizenship is required
