The Internet Software & Services (IS&S) team at Apple provides customers around the world with access to an incredible collection of content across apps, music, games, fitness, movies, TV, news, books, iCloud, and more.

We are looking for an Analyst to join our exciting Global Pricing Strategy team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting pricing research and analysis, and crafting global pricing recommendations.

This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams around the world, extensive data analysis and modeling, market research, strategy formulation, and clear communication of recommendations. You will thrive in our team if you possess outstanding analytical skills, a keen business sense, and the ability to build positive relationships across the organization. Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years building sophisticated analytical models in a business context
  • Proven business sense, with a good foundation in basic financial and business strategy principles
  • Track record of building strong working relationships and collaborating across teams
  • Proven track record of working independently, and leading multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience developing presentations for an executive level audience
  • Comfortable with a high level of ambiguity and complexity
  • Knowledge of SQL, and Python/R

Description

You will help craft the global pricing strategy for Apple services, including the App Store, Apple One, Apple Music, iCloud, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+ and more. Projects are varied and could include:
- New product launches or country expansions
- Price updates due to business strategy or market changes
- Pricing performance monitoring and analysis
- Ad-hoc pricing projects and campaigns

As Pricing Analyst, you will work cross-functionally with various teams such as Business, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Legal and other Apple organizations around the world. This position will include:
- Developing a deep understanding of the business models of the industries in which we operate
- Defining problem-solving approaches and conducting analyses to inform pricing decisions
- Identifying and collecting data relevant to your analyses from multiple internal and external sources
- Evaluating the performance of our pricing structure and decisions, and recommend changes as needed
- Crafting presentations, articulating your findings and recommendations to help executives take critical pricing decisions

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree, quantitative or technical field preferred
3+ years of experience in consulting or finance/strategy role in a large organization
