Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Oversees definition, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development.
  • Determines system simulation and defines module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • Performs simulation for IPs and SoCs.
  • Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
  • May also review vendor capability to support development.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience -OR- Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in:

  • Validation, Reading and interpreting technical specs and Register Transfer Level RTL code.
  • Working on IP or SoC development verification integration using Verilog, System Verilog, Open Verification Methodology OVM/Universal Verification Methodology UVM Debug writing monitors/checkers/reference models stimulus.
  • Using simulation debug tools like VCS, Verdi.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Writing validation plans and software to implement those validation plans
  • Experience on High speed fabrics and traffic ordering rules, Coherency and protocols like IDI and PCI Computer architecture
  • Programming scripting with C++/Perl/Python
  • Experience with System Verilog / OVM or UVM Methodology
