Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Develop pre-silicon functional validation infrastructure (BFM's, scoreboards/checkers, trackers, programmers, stimulus libraries, coverage) to verify system will meet design requirements.
  • Create test plan for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests. Analyzes and uses results to modify testing.
  • Develop functional coverage infrastructure to help in achieving coverage targets.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience OR a Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience OR a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science in:

  • Verifying complex designs both at the component and full chip level
  • Architecting and developing test benches and verification components like bus functional models and scoreboards/checkers
  • System Verilog based OVM UVM VMM or related object oriented and coverage driven ASIC verification methodology


Preferred Qualifications

  • Verifying complex designs both at the component and full chip level
  • Software development and scripting
  • BFM development for complex IPs.
