As part of the Architecture Power and Performance Analysis team, you will be responsible for system setup, instrumentation, power and performance measurement and analysis on a variety of mobile, desktop and server systems. As a Power Instrumentation Engineer, you will be the resident expert in studying and analyzing power delivery on mother board, Voltage-Freq, Cdyn, Leakage extraction and characterization and IP level PnP analysis and benchmarking. You will be hands on instrumenting mother board, setting up thermal solution, NIDAQ for data collection and enabling automation for data collection. Your will have opportunity to put together competitive analysis to influence Intel designs. This role will interface with architecture and engineering teams across the company.


Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of working experience in power instrumentation and analysis of semi-conductor hardware:

  • Ability to read Electrical Circuits and Hands on experience with Soldering

  • Understanding of system architecture and/or micro-architecture for processor, IP and SOC

  • Ability to effectively work with a cross geographical team of engineers and delivering results


Preferred Skills:

  • Post Silicon Power Measurements, NIDAQ setup, Data collection and Analysis
