Job Description

Come and join a dynamic and challenging team within the Intel Data Platform Group (DPG) focused on engineering developing and supporting world class platforms and component building blocks aligned to DPG's roadmap and strategies.

In this position, you will be enabling the industry's best server platforms as a Power delivery applications engineer for the Data Center Platform Applications Engineering (DCPAE) organization. We seek a power engineer to work with Intel design teams and global customers to define and develop server and workstation platform power delivery solutions. You will work to enable customer designs by providing design collateral and tools for Intel processors, chipsets, and other platform components.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working with customers to ensure design feasibility, robustness, and launch readiness.

  • Representing customer technical needs in new product development teams.

  • Predicting and resolving technical issues associated with platform integration.

  • Developing customer communication and collateral including design guides, specifications, training material, and test tools that support Intel's and customer's reliability and schedule goals.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

Minimum qualifications:

3+ years of experience with:

  • Design and/or test of power regulation systems for computing platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Multinational Corporations (MNCs) and experience creating 'customer ready' collateral and training is highly desirable.
