Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Power Thermal and Performance Validation of Intel's next generation high performance CPU and interconnected interfaces covering the identification and implementation of stress testing scenarios to ensure power sequencing and boot flows are validated against product specifications.

  • Developing validation strategies plans and methodologies
  • Teaming up with designers architects, manufacturing, and pre-silicon teams and other cross functional teams
  • Executing validation plans, debugging issues to root cause, enabling robust design fixes, and providing risk and product health assessments
  • Developing automation software and tools for validation and data acquisition
  • Setting up post silicon validation environment and using lab equipment for platform characterization

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.     

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline and 3+ years of experience - OR- a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with:

  • Pre or post silicon validation, or SOC architecture.
  • Scripting or software development, Python, Perl, C, C#
  • Benchmarks and PnP analysis techniques in the industry
