Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for Power Thermal and Performance validation of Intel's next generation high performance CPU and interconnected interfaces covering the identification and implementation of stress testing scenarios to ensure power sequencing and boot flows are validated against product specifications. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to Developing validation strategies plans and methodologies. Teaming up with designers architects, manufacturing, and pre-silicon teams and other cross functional teams. Executing validation plans, debugging issues to root cause, enabling robust design fixes, and providing risk and product health assessments. Developing automation software and tools for validation and data acquisition. Setting up post silicon validation environment and using lab equipment for platform characterization.

Minimum qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum of a Bachelors degree, a Masters Degree, a PhD with 1+ years of  experience, or equivalent work experience. Degree should be in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 1+ years of applied experience in the following attributes:

  • Experience in pre or post silicon validation, or SOC architecture.
  • Experience in scripting or software development, Python, Perl, C, C#
  • Possess an excellent ability to organize logically and present clearly experimental data.
  • Be familiar with benchmarks and PnP analysis techniques in the industry.
  • Have a healthy sense of paranoia for bugs and a strong sense of quality.
