Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Custom Logic Engineering (CLE) group within our larger Datacenter and AI Group (DCAI) as a Post Silicon Electrical Validation Engineer!

Join our Platform Validation Engineering (PVE) team within the CLE group who is looking for a Post Silicon Electrical Validation Engineer for product development (FPGAs, SASICs and ASICs) with focus on High-Speed IO.  In this role you will conduct and participate in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing, validation, and utilization of IO and mixed signal architectures inclusive of industry standard datacom applications, and custom Intel interfaces.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Understanding of DFT and DFM to collaborate with architecture, design, and pre-silicon validation teams to ensure capability to validate and test IO architecture implementations.

- Understand validation specifications, evaluate IP, and generate compliance/test reports.

- Ensure products conform to standards and specifications.

- Develop procedures, analysis, and designs for validation, validation infrastructure, and systems margin validation.

- Analyze internal and external customer returns with emphasis on improving yields and driving test escape closure.

- Apply and use independent evaluation to select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, performance, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below.

- Knowledge and background in associated IO validation test equipment.

- Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

- High focus on discipline in execution, a relentless pursuit of quality, and excellent customer orientation.

- Experience in engaging with and gaining support from senior engineering leads on key initiatives.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Education Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- 3 plus years of experience in semiconductor IO development, testing, validation, and utilization of IO and mixed signal architectures inclusive of industry standard datacom applications.

- 3 plus years of experience and technical expertise/understanding of end-to-end electrical validation strategy for a given product at Silicon and platform level.

- 3 plus year of experience working closely with Circuit designers and Platform architects.

- 2 plus years of technical experience and understanding of methodologies/strategies for electrical validation.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or higher.

- Expertise in Python programming.

- PCB/Board design experience.
