Job Description

The candidate will lead security research, architecture, and evaluation of all security aspects of SOCs and features for CCG platforms.

The candidate will focus on, but not limited to, developing strategy, and driving architecture and execution of said strategy, to continuously elevate the security profile of Intel SOCs and upcoming security-focused features.

The candidate will work closely with DEG, IAGS, and key industry partners including Microsoft and Google, and key OEMs to build best-in-class Intel-based platforms.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree of higher on Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Electrical Engineer or similar technical STEM degree.

10+ years of relevant HW/SW development experience with a focus and interest in security to include:

  • In depth understanding of security concepts, such as threat modelling, security lifecycle, secure HW/SW arch and design etc., along with sufficient knowledge of cryptographic constructs (algorithms, usage etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of PC architecture in general and x86 architecture in particular, with a critical eye to identify opportunities to enhance security as well as current areas of concern
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of industry direction including that of Microsoft and Google and will have a reasonable understanding of user security and privacy protection direction
  • Experience in leading a technology deployment across various orgs/geos is desired but not required
  • Experience with concepts of micro architectural attacks (side channels, fault injection, etc).
  • Experience with HW level applications of cryptography, secure boot, key management, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree or higher in a STEM degree
