Job Description

The successful candidate will work in the Planar Chemical area, interface with Planar Engineers and Integration Engineers, must be proficient in CMP chemical analysis, Slurry chemical blending, developing CMP chemical process recipes, vetting new slurries, and partnering with industry slurry experts to bring new commodities on-site for NMDM development requirements. Will be responsible for developing experiments, support area technicians to perform the maintenance and repair of analytical equipment. Train others in the theory and practice of troubleshooting and repair of analytical instruments and be a demonstrated expert operating the analytical lab, PCDS blenders, Installation of new systems, qualification and whitepaper authoring in support of the various process nodes supported by PCDS within the Intel NMDM environment.

  • Strong communication skills are required with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Project management skills and/or supervisory ability.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering/ science degrees such as Chemistry, Material Science, Electrical Engineering may be considered with more applicable industry years of experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with various instrumental analysis and wet chemistry testing.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Slurry/CMP experience
  • Facilities operation or industry experience
  • Chemical systems operation or industry experience
  • Familiarity with the use of analytical instruments and equipment.
  • Previous experience with - overseeing and support area technicians to perform the maintenance and repair of analytical equipment.
  • Trained others in the theory and practice of troubleshooting and repair of analytical instruments.
