If you are passionate about computer graphics and working with leading graphics engineers on Intel's latest GPU/CPU architectures, then our Graphics and Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) Team has opportunities for you. In GTCHE, we are passionate about delivering best-in-class visual experiences that enable users to immerse themselves in a new visual future.  The Visual and Machine Learning IP team is within GTCHE delivering discrete and integrated graphics IPs to the client and datacenter markets.

This position is part of a world class IP physical design team developing groundbreaking high-performance GFX targeting High End Graphics, Gaming, Artificial Intelligence, Media processing, and other applications.  This is a great opportunity to join a talented team, early in the product lifecycle and will include lots of innovation in RTL2GDSII implementation of multi-million gate designs in advanced process nodes, both internal and external.  Bring your expertise to us!

As a senior-level Physical Design CAD Engineer your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

Defining and instrumenting Methodology on a wide range of implementation flows, including:

  • ML/AI capabilities (in-house, and external) for improved PPA optimization of Gfx silicon products

  • SD implementation with latest EDA tools (Fusion, Innovus)

  • DFT, Scan Insertion, and coverage analysis

  • Floorplanning with ICC2-DP and internal FP solutions

  • Multiple Power Domain implementation using standard Power Formats UPF/CPF

  • Place and Route and clock tree synthesis

  • Post-Route flows using well-formulated recipes for best-in-class power and performance

As Well As

  • Engaging closely with design teams on complex IPs to understand the design and convergence challenges, to formulate suitable implementation recipes with a focus on PPA and TAT optimizations

  • Working with 3rd party EDA vendors to resolve tool/flow issues, drive improvements and innovation in design convergence through deployment of next-gen capabilities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical / Electronics, or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, as defined below

Experience Must Be in One, or More, of The Following:

  • Demonstrated capability in methodology development and design enablement of complex multi-million gate designs, in areas of Synthesis, Floor-planning, Power-planning, Placement, CTS and Routing

  • Static Timing Analysis (STA) and signoff quality checks

  • In-depth knowledge of industry standard EDA tools (Synthesis, Floorplanning, PnR) and ASIC design flow

  • Multi-voltage scenarios design handling knowledge

  • Proficiency in scripting language, such as Perl/Tcl

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Electrical / Electronics, or Computer Engineering

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$95,090.00-$157,480.00
