Job Description
The iVE client validation team has the charter of validating Intel products and ensuring functional correctness of our power and performance capabilities. We achieve this goal by developing best-in-class engineers, driving end-to-end validation and ever-increasing quality standards. This enables more focus on the scope and efficiency improvements which ultimately result in faster product delivery and improved efficiency.

PE/Sr PE Power Management and Testing Lead Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible to architect the power management feature validation for leading-edge client SOC and corresponding platforms. Responsibilities also include building the test plan strategy and developing the tool architecture which enables the creation of synthetic test content. The synthetic directed tests will be the foundation used to validate the effectiveness of the power features architected and developed for the SOC.

The candidate will be working in close collaboration with the pre-silicon power management teams to quantify power and project benefits of features, and to define stress scenarios to fully exercise the features. A broad spectrum of understanding is required across multiple system areas to be able to communicate across architecture, design, pre-silicon, and post-silicon validation teams. An understanding of accelerators and embedded systems will be needed to fully validate SoC subsystems such as sensing, audio, and other AI accelerators.

The candidate will also be helping to enable and drive debug of OS-based power and performance KPIs and driving root cause analysis where silicon measurements deviate from projections. These efforts require working in collaboration with teams across Intel to drive changes across OS, software, driver, or other FW components as needed to ensure successful delivery of product meeting the PnP targets. Will need to be a recognized leader specifically with Windows operating system to help influence and drive high impact changes.

We in iVE are looking for dynamic candidates sharing the passion for delivering high quality with the right IP in a predictable fashion that our customers can count on. This work will require the ability to work beyond the Intel boundary and include our ODM/OEMs and external IHV's to ensure proper support by our customers for our rich set of SOC capabilities. The ability to communicate well verbally and in presentations will be critical for success in the position. The candidate must excel in modeling the 'One Intel' mindset in cross-team collaboration to achieve our challenging objectives. This role will also fully utilize the required strong strategic and business acumen to facilitate collaboration with other directors, stakeholders, and partners.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer engineering with 5+ years of experience
PE/Sr PE with deep understanding of OS & Drivers and recognized leader
SW Expertise to architect and manage test generator development
Ability to help debug complex OS, Driver Power & Performance issues
Have a collaboration-focused mindset to work with other directors, partners, and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of the SOC power states and underlying capabilities of PM
Strong strategic and business acumen
