Global Business Solutions (GBS) is looking for a highly organized, patient, well-spoken, hungry, enthusiastic team player to support employees in recovery of overpayments. Candidates should be personable, curious, technically savvy, hard-working and able to take direction. The ability to think critically and troubleshoot independently is a must.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources / Payroll working across multiple services such as Employee Relations, Policies, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits etc.
  • Ability to assess risks and determine the most appropriate path forward to resolution.
  • Obsess over the employee experience and view each and every inquiry as an opportunity to care and support others. Able to create methods to keep an eye on quality without missing key deadlines.
  • Can navigate highly complex business needs without a clearly defined path and where you see a need, to bring a well thought solution.
  • Find love in the details and are action oriented. Use data to tell a compelling story of successes and opportunities. Creating action plans and driving improvements is something you enjoy.

Description

The Claims Payroll Analyst will be creating promissory notes and working with employees on a repayment plan of salary overpayment. We're looking for an individual who has an in-depth wage and hour knowledge as it relates to state collection laws and federal minimum wage laws, someone that maintains a calm, polite and personal demeanor when communicating a sensitive or challenging message

Specifically, you will:
Manually calculate a payslip from gross to net so you can show the employee how the overpayment occurred.

Manually calculate W2 values based on latest pay slip, so you can show the employee the impact on their W2.

Prioritize and action all payroll updates that negatively impact the employee before they are paid.

Maintain accurate and acceptable files on each employee, following company policy and procedure.

Maintain the employee relationship as it related to the processing of the employee payroll. This includes responding to questions and resolving payroll issues.

Performs other related duties and assignments as assigned.

Education & Experience

BS/BA in Finance,HR, Accounting or other relevant field strongly preferred
