We are seeking an experienced Payments Project Manager to be responsible for supporting and implementing cross functional initiatives associated with payments across B2C and B2B platforms.

This individual will work across Retail, Engineering, Business Development, Legal, Operations and many other teams across Apple to help support critical initiatives from cart to order fulfillment and reverse supply chain.

Key Qualifications

  • Candidates should have previous experience in integrating new payment methods, processing and billing in a Global eCommerce environment
  • Complete understanding of Payment processing and the key components used in completing a transaction
  • Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion whether working solo or with large cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of Regulatory requirements for Payment is a plus
  • Professional experience working with internet-based services, online applications, eCommerce, and logistics
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technology, and complex workflows
  • Self-starter with ability to balance priorities and work in a lean environment
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to simplify the complex and build consensus
  • Solid balance of critical thinking and ability to get things done
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate across senior executives and cross functional team members
  • Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Supply Chain and reverse supply chain experience a must
  • Ability to build a collaborative, adaptive and matrixed team to provide process improvements and process documentations. Will require very tight integration with regional teams.
  • Ability to navigate, influence and negotiate with all levels of the organization, business, vendors, and cross functional teams.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills required to serve diverse customer base and deal effectively with escalating issues.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Development methodologies.

Description
- Gather business requirements, and turn these into well-defined capability requirements and specifications
- Identify market opportunities, build business cases, and help drive roadmap landmarks
- Critical problem solver to be able to troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations to management and peers
- Partner closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as execution schedule
- Work with cross-functional partners to align teams around the product definition. Track product development, and develop product launch plans
- Project manager to prioritize features/user stories/tasks.
- Assess product success and customer satisfaction and feed them back into the product definition process
- Ensure a smooth handover and implementation of new functionality, develop strong working relationships with other application support teams and participate in end-to-end Operations review and data flows across different business areas.
- Ensure early engagement in the application project lifecycle process and collaborate with the project team in defining business support models consistent with defined overall production/application support strategy and approach.
- Provides effective change leadership in driving continuous improvements and innovation in the business focus production support area in the BPR Operations group.

Education & Experience
- 7-10 years experience in managing large global technical projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- PMI/PMP certification preferred
- Experience with ITIL methodology
