Parts Draftsman

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide a technical support to parts customer representatives;
  • Research and analyse relevant documentation on equipments and parts in the company's different systems (CSI Infor, Caelus, Teamwork, archives on physical support);
  • Communicate with suppliers of discontinued items and work with the engineering and purchasing departments to find compatible alternate parts and solutions;
  • Draft alternates items and parts using Autodesk Inventor and Autocad
  • Generate and maintain technical sheet and plans on differents items;
  • Prepare material lists (BOMs) on parts orders


  • Professional diploma in industrial drafting or college diploma in mechanical engineering or any equivalent degree;
  • 1-2 years’ experience in 2D/3D drawing with Autodesk Inventor and Autocad;
  • Bilingual, French and English (spoken and written);
  • knowledge of industrial components used in the industry
  • Experience with automated machinery and/or industrial mechanic (an asset);
  • Experience with MRP system. (an asset);
  • Analytical skills, thoroughness and attention to details
