Our team is searching for a highly skilled and motivated individual to design, drive and build the security infrastructure of the Home and Audio products platform. The responsibility of the individual will span from defining and auditing secure SW requirements to developing and maintaining secure inter-device, remote and cloud communication. In this role, you will work very closely with a number of SW, security and legal teams to define the paradigms and procedures to create and maintain the most secure products in the market. Besides a deep understanding and experience in OS security, the ideal candidate will have to demonstrate phenomenal communication skills to clearly present their designs and facilitate collaboration with the larger and in many cases non-technical functional teams

Key Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will need to possess a genuine passion for creating effective and pragmatic security technologies in the operating systems arena. Understanding of past, current, and emerging security exploits. Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules. Working cross-functionally with other software, hardware, marketing, and support teams to provide the best security solutions for Apple's products
  • Requires 7+ years hands on experience on medium/large projects based on a full OS: Linux, Android, BSD , etc
  • More than 5 years experience on High level OS security: Linux, Android or BSD flavor
  • Need to have extensive experience with Secure Boot, Secure Update, Attestation, Key Management , etc
  • Strong experience with secure channel establishment, communication and revocation
  • ARM Trust Zone™ development experience is a great plus

Description

Help define the security properties and architecture for the next-generation Home and Audio products. Design and implement new approaches to system security, audit, and inter-device communication mechanisms to help protect our customers. Come up with new and innovative ways of increasing security and privacy while preserving ease-of-use and increasing the quality of the user experience. Work cooperatively with other parts of Apple on cross-functional technologies and initiatives to enhance security

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience or skills.
