We have an opening for a Technical Team Member in the Business Enablement program. You will deliver Technical solutions that enable the smooth functioning of the Oracle PeopleSoft HCM platform. This position is in the Computing Directorates Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) Division, working cross-functionally in Strategic Human Resources Management (SHRM).

This position will be filled at either the SES.3 or SES.4 level depending on your qualifications. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if you are selected at the higher level.

Essential Duties
- Design, develop, customize, and support highly complex applications in Oracle PeopleTools for Human Resource modules by troubleshooting, identifying issues, and performing root cause analysis.
- Build and support customizations as appropriate including reports, interfaces, extensions, and conversions per Oracles standards.
- Solve data relationship problems by designing processes and data structures to ensure data integrity across inter-related application environments.
- Collaborate with business customers to identify and clearly define business requirements in order to propose, design, and implement appropriate technical solutions.
- Create and/or update user and application support documentation.
- Work with technical team providing technical review, supporting code migration, and providing technical artifacts for internal knowledge base.
- Leverage escalation paths to ensure timely and successful resolutions to service requests working with LLNL teams and Oracle support for identified issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
In Addition at the SES.4 Level
- Provide technical team leadership with relevant experience to manage support activities within the Human Resources and PeopleSoft product portfolio to enable team members to meet production support requirements.
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders and technical team members to address contractual requirements, human resource policies, procedures, and guidelines through technical solutions.
- Provide senior level expertise factoring emerging technologies and product supportability in the architecture and design of complex solutions to solve business needs.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Significant experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 in a production support environment or in a full life-cycle implementation effort.
- Advanced knowledge of and significant experience with PeopleSoft HCM foundation modules, such as Core HR, eBenefits/Benefits Administration, eCompensation, Absence Management, Time & Labor, AWE, eProfile, ePerformance, Reporting, Configuration, and the underlying package data models.
- Significant experience integrating Oracle PeopleSoft HCM with ancillary/third-party systems.
- Advanced technical skills in Application Designer, Application Engine, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, SQR, PeopleCode, Fluid Development, HTML5, and/or CSS.
- Significant hands on in-depth technical experience in design, development, unit testing, deployment, and post-production support of Oracle PeopleSoft components.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information, create technical documents, and prepare and present on technical topics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.
In Addition at the SES.4 Level
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and significant related experience.
- Substantial experience working as a team lead with a strong understanding of the entire Oracle HCM suite, and integrations with custom and other off the shelf solutions.
- Substantial experience managing complex IT implementation projects, with demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate, guide other functional and technical professionals, as well as working well with senior management.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PUM lifecycle analysis.
- Experience with Quest STAT.
- Experience with Oracle RDMS relational modeling and schema design and with Performance Tuning and Load Testing.

Security Clearance: This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance.
