Suppliers: Direct management of world-class, multi-billion dollar sophisticated supplier(s) including negotiations of purchase contracts, strategic deals, development agreements, and pricing; Personal exposure to upper-level management at the supplier through the management and executive reviews; negotiating for capacity from your supplier to support Intel demand; building and managing a relationship to help grow the partnership. Business Units: You will work with Tester Eco System (Intel Wide) and with all levels (including management) as you increase your influence and deliver awesome results.

The Integrated Circuit (IC) Commodity Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

The Integrated Circuit (IC) Commodity Manage will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Lead supplier selection (RFx) activities and secures supplier selection alignment with key stakeholders and leadership within the Tester Vertical and IC team.
  • Develop procurement strategy to include allocation, inventory, and utilization strategies to meet availability, inventory, and cost targets.
  • Develop and executes negotiation plans for contracts and pricing.
  • Benchmarks costs and prices ensure affordability targets are understood and met, align BU partners on price forecasts.
  • Understand BU and industry roadmaps identify gaps, and recommend actions to ensure support of Intel's Business Unit product roadmaps.
  • Collect and interpret market Intelligence including but not limited to price trends and industry capacity to develop data-driven strategies to best support business unit current and future requirements.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance including escalation for resolution of issues.
  • Manage tactical and long-range supply, delivering monthly forecasts to suppliers and securing support commitments.
  • Develop and executes BU and supplier-specific strategies to achieve the best results for Test Development Partner and Intel IC team.

  • Align goals and timelines to stakeholder expectation, highlights roadblocks and solutions to overcome them.
  • Willingness to successfully deploy a broad range of supply chain techniques and methodologies to achieve results.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least one of the following:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a closely related field. With 4+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Finance.

2. Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a closely related field. With 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Finance.

3. Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a closely related field. With 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Finance.
