Job Summary:
The RMD Offset Finance team within the Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization has an immediate opening for a early in career team member. The RMD Offset Organization is primarily comprised of Finance and Contracts employees that support all Offset efforts within RMD. The Offset portfolio consists of over 100 programs in more than 15 countries, with a total Obligation balance over $14B. You will be an integral team member in helping to manage the Offset Obligations and will get exposure across all of the Mission Areas as well as different functions and Leadership Teams. This financial role serves as a critical business partner by providing investigation, insight and guidance to program leadership in order to enable strategic directions leading to program execution and fiduciary success around Offsets. This diverse portfolio of programs includes 15+ countries that have unique offset policies, working with FMS and DCS programs, and working with our REL and RSA Businesses. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and allocate resources in a challenging, deadline focused environment. In addition, the you will be responsible for managing the execution/closure of several small programs that fall under Sensors and Systems Mission Area and are managed by our team. Professional and effective communication skills are required due to the frequent interaction with program, product line and functional leads.
The offset role is a unique position which requires self-motivation and integrity for success, as the Offset Team is small and works on a variety of different programs. Culture is of high priority in this environment, and it is expected that the candidate is capable of building business relationships, trust and rapport with business contacts within the offset team and a variety of other teams including the program teams, FP&A, Accounting and Estimating and Pricing.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Weekly reporting and monthly/yearly forecasting
  • Support Quarterly EAC reviews
  • Responsible for Internal and External Reporting (EACs, Rplan/Financial Planning, Billed/Unbilled Reviews)
  • Monitoring deadlines (Tax assessments/PwC Audits) associated with contracts
  • Working closely with various functional organizations to proactively investigate and articulate financial impacts.
  • Supporting current year monthly forecasts, AOP (annual) strategy and the LRP (Long Range Planning) processes
  • Performing ad-hoc requests for stakeholders
  • Designing and executing creative solutions/opportunities for program and process opportunities
  • Assisting in the development of fundamental and intermediary data skills of junior team members
  • Supporting the automation of reporting and data tools used across the programs


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • A University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Bachelors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Math or a related degree
  • Experience with systems such as SAP (PRISM & APEX), BW, Edit+, RPlan
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
