This is a unique opportunity to be part of the management team within Intel's Global Supply Chain Operations (GSCO) team, developing and driving the execution of industry-leading supply chain solutions for many of Intel's highest growth market opportunities.

As Intel engages with third party OEM partners to roll out Intel validated reference platforms to accelerate the deployment of next generation client and server CPUs, ensuring that those partners are able to quickly address component shortages in their supply chain is key. In many cases the suppliers that support our OEM partners to suppliers that we work with directly at Intel.

As the OEM Supply Assurance Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of senior sourcing specialists to engage directly with our Intel Business Unit partners and external OEM partners to develop supplier specific sourcing strategies to ensure components supply. The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of the PC and Server Ecosystem environment, be aware of Intel's product roadmap in the client and server space, and have a demonstrated track record of developing supplier sourcing strategies.

As the OEM Supply Assurance Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to:


  • Developing, maintaining and maturing strategic sourcing partnerships with our key business unit partners at Intel.
  • Partnering with a broad variety of suppliers in the client and server industry ecosystem to enable supply.
  • Leveraging market intelligence to understand our OEM partner supply chains, where we have overlap and where we have uniqueness.
  • Working closely with partner organizations such as Finance, Legal, QnR and Sustainability to ensure OEM supply sourcing strategies are fully vetted and aligned to Intel's sourcing business processes.
  • Influencing key stakeholders from partner organizations on proactive sourcing and supplier development strategies to ensure OEM component supply.
  • Ability to lead teams across multiple organizations/geographies to execute to agreed-to sourcing strategies.
  • Exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
  • Assessing risks and identifying solutions to achieve program goals.
  • Ensuring appropriate progress against schedule and taking remedial action as appropriate.
  • Prioritizing utilization of resources with other job functions.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

  • 10+ years of semiconductor technology experience
  • 5+ years managerial experience or equivalence working in the area of supply sourcing.


Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent business/commercial background
  • Technical understanding of client/server architectures
  • Strong command over and familiarity with Intel product roadmap
  • Ability to apply structured problem solving and system thinking to drive and solve high-impact and at-scale engineering problems within Intel's memory engineering ecosystem.
  • Supplier management experience.
  • Experience working on new product introductions/launches into the market.

Knowledge in:

  • Budget planning.
  • Supply chain business processes.
  • NPI development process.
  • Leading multi-cultural globally distributed teams.
  • Project management.
