Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse
Location: Washington - Pullman

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Investigate workplace injuries/illness; education employer and employees on preventative measures.  
2. Perform pre-employment medical history review and appropriate follow up with candidate and referral if needed.  
3. Perform follow-up drug/alcohol tests after an incident and random drug and alcohol screens.    
4. Provide primary first aid – referrals to workers’ compensation providers if needed.
5. Develop and implement health and safety programs.
6. Maintain records and reporting in a responsible and confidential way.    
7. Assist departments with identifying, evaluating, and implementing accommodations and return to work options for workers with restricted duty.  
8. Follow and apply SEL values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
9. Understand. Create. Simplify.  
10. Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State of Washington and/or Idaho
At least two years of clinical experience as an Occupational Health Nurse
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication skills
Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)


Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of federal and state regulations application to occupational and environmental health and safety.  
  
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
