Apple's Natural Language Processing Group (NLP) is responsible for a wide range of language technologies, including auto-correction, spellchecking, predictive typing, Chinese & Japanese input, tokenization, tagging and other solutions that are at the intersection of machine learning and NLP. We deliver intelligent and highly performant technologies driven by natural language text data. We are looking for critical thinkers with a sharp eye for detail. Key Qualifications

  • Exceptional understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
  • Ability to investigate and debug difficult problems
  • Proficient in Python, Javascript or similar scripting language
  • Fundamental understanding of Apple's platforms - macOS and iOS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task well and change focus quickly
  • Creative thinker and strong problem solver
  • Highly organized, motivated and passionate about achieving results

Description

As a QA engineer, you will be working closely with other NLP engineers & NLP QA Engineers to establish the bar for quality. You will make sure that our products meet that bar - by doing manual testing and writing automation tests. Your main job responsibilities will include the following:
-Planning, designing, and executing test cases
-Performing daily ad-hoc and structured tests
-Bug reporting and isolation - Writing automation

Education & Experience

Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field or equivalent work experience
