Job Description

This is a senior technical leadership position within the Vision Processing Unit Organization. The VPU team designs and delivers undisputed industry leading low power AI IP and software for edge/client products. In this position you will provide technical direction and strategic leadership on hardware software co-design and modelling working in a small team of but highly impactful talented team responsible for next generation silicon and system software architecture.

Job Description

  • Define and prototype key hardware software interfaces

  • Driver hardware and software innovation and simplicity - lead structural improvements in modularity and show design space tradeoffs between hardware and software complexity.

  • Creating and improving long term modelling infrastructure

  • Developing prototype and delivering subsystem architectural specifications

  • Defining and decomposing use cases, show how specific choices change end top line metrics


Qualifications

Qualifications/ requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in EE/CS

  • Strong knowledge of AI hardware and software systems

  • Strong track record of complex problem solving and decision-making skills with an unwavering customer focus

  • Hands on code experience with knowledge of C++, Python/Numpy, Jupyter notebooks and ideally Verilog

  • Understanding of common edge AI workloads including common and emerging techniques in Vision, NLP, Recommendation systems, generative networks.

  • Experience managing small technical teams

  • Strong communicator on complex issues, good technology advocate

  • Excellent collaboration skills, proven ability to build strong relationships across organization / geo boundaries

  • Work in dynamic environment delivering demonstratable value to multiple stakeholders
