The Medium Range Air Defense Product Line (MRAD PL) is an organization within the LW&AD Business containing multiple programs within its portfolio including Sentinel, NASAMS, and HAWK. The MRAD PL is a complex program area executing work across multiple Raytheon Technologies Business Units (RMD & RIS) and through a key partnership with Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (KDA) and Raytheon Technologies Australia. With NASAMS in 11 different countries and Sentinel in 14 countries, the current 5 year strategy is to continue to expand the global footprint further.
The MRAD PL has an exciting opportunity for a Program Execution & Growth Lead. This position will assist with providing tactical direction for program execution via multi-functional, geographically-dispersed teams and sub-contractors with cross-business teams and suppliers. The Program Execution and Growth lead will maintain a program cadence to ensure contracts and Raytheon Technologies requirements, deliverables, and reporting are met using the approved business model and management tools including EVMS, IPDS, PRISM, etc.; and utilize the PL strategy to expand the global footprint of the PL. S/he will be responsible for activities across the programs to maximize consistency and implementation of best practices. Will assist the PL Director with regular reporting to senior leadership on PL performance, AOP forecasting, monthly Operating reviews, and quarterly EACs. This person is also responsible for the coordination of all proposal activities within the PL with a strong focus on growth.

*This position will require both domestic and international travel.*

*Position can be located in Massachusetts (preferred), Arizona, Alabama, California, and other RMD locations.*


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Achieve the growth strategy within the PL and lead the expansion of the MRAD PLs Global footprint
  • Lead the development of all MRAD PL proposals.
  • Set tactical direction for program execution by multifunctional team(s) and sub-contractors and other RTX/supplier/Customer locations.
  • Acts as a support leader responsible for meeting contractual commitments including the financial, quality, and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including EVMS, IPDS, PRISM, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with customer. Responsible for supporting regular reporting to senior leadership on program performance, monthly operating reviews and quarterly EACs.
  • Collaborates with senior cross-business team and integrated-business team leadership to ensure the application of appropriate support resources to overall Business/Program execution efforts.
  • Ensures alignment of human and capital resource requirements to achieve contract(s) performance


Required Skills/Experiences:
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience; preferably as an EVMS practitioner, IPT Lead, PIC, EV Manager, and/or CAM on a program
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • Export/Import (EX/IM) experience on an international program or related experience
  • Experience with EVMS, IPDS, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Experience with proposal activities
  • Experience managing FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CR, CPIF type of contracts
  • Working knowledge of program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule; EVMS certified preferred
  • Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within one year of employment.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the Gate 3 to 5 Process
  • Understanding of international deployment MOU process
  • R6s Specialist Qualified
  • Familiarity with FMS and DCS Contracts
  • Ability to influence and manage an international supplier with significant program scope
  • Certified BOE Developer / Approver
  • PMX Level 3/4 Certified, or ability to obtain certification
  • Ability to lead R6S projects
  • Prior experience with contract definitization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration
  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers and senior leadership

This position requires the eligibility to have or obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
