The App Store is seeking an analytical and collaborative individual to join the Games Monetization team. You will work with cross-functional teams around the world to help identify and evangelize growth opportunities, and make the App Store an even better place for developers to launch the world's best games

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience within mobile games in an analytics, finance, marketing/user acquisition or product management function
  • Proven ability to synthesize insights from data and industry sources and package those insights into persuasive, impactful proposals
  • Extraordinary quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel (Tableau & SQL experience a plus)
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Proven approach to problem solving and eagerness to adjust to rapidly-changing business priorities and challenges
  • A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates critical thinking abilities


Do you enjoy discovering solutions to complex business problems? Are you a curious and collaborative person? As Games Monetization Analyst, you'll support the development of the App Store's games business intelligence for internal partners (including Business Development, Scaled Engagement, Product and others), with an end goal of providing effective, growth-minded guidance to developers.

- Deep analytical skills and experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated technical expertise regarding data models, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Deep knowledge of modern analytics, reporting and business intelligence tools, including data visualization tools
- Expertise in storytelling using Keynote (or PowerPoint) and enjoy blending quantitative insights with qualitative research
- An appreciation for free-to-play games and insights into a particular game's significance to the App Store ecosystem
- A deep interest in learning how Apple works and the perseverance to develop relationships with cross-functional peers over a period of several years
