Job Description:
The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) has opportunities for Model Based Systems Engineer research positions within the Sensor and Electromagnetic Application Laboratory (SEAL) in Smyrna, Georgia. The mission of SEAL’s Model Based Systems Engineering Group is to perform analysis, architecture development and design and engineering functions for complex systems, which includes sensor performance, signal processing, electronic warning, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems deployed on land, air and sea. The Model Based Systems Engineering team has responsibilities for:
The successful candidate will have real world experience and training directly related to implementing Model Based Systems Engineering solutions on complex, DoD programs. The candidate will be involved in a team environment consisting of GTRI, Government, and Industry partners. This position also requires excellent communication skills in order to convey analysis, design and trade spaces to the customer and users, and to assist in the description of required current and future capabilities. The candidate will be required to write technical papers to assist the project in the need for new research and capabilities.
