Job Description: Raytheon Missiles & Defense has an excellent opportunity within the Global Supply Chain Management Proposal Team for a Mission Area Proposal Lead. This growth opportunity will provide an ambitious individual with the ability to interface and partner with Supply Chain and Estimating Leadership during pursuits of new and follow-on business.
In this dynamic and fast paced environment, this candidate will be managing proposals including entrance into the Strategic Sourcing Organization, shaping proposal strategy, and aligning key functions throughout the lifecycle inclusive of transition to the execution team. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Managing proposal kickoffs and strategy 2. Review and approve Basis of Estimates (BOEs) 3. Report out to internal customers on status to completion 4. Post proposal management activities (RFIs, SWEEPs, etc.)
Required Skills:
Minimum of 8 years related work experience
Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry
Experience with filtering through, and analyzing large amounts of data
Experience with FAR, Part 15 requirements
Experience at the intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Experience with general Supply Chain processes
Experience with strong documentation and timeline management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
U.S. Citizenship
Desired Skills:
Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent
Active Secret DoD security clearance
Experience with project management
Experience in functional estimating, program business and/or functional business roles is highly desired
Experience working as Subcontract Manager, Financial Analyst, or Estimating Analyst
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
