As a DDR Validation Engineer, you will be working as a member of the Intel Client Electrical Validation (EV) team that is responsible for the electrical validation of Intel's next generation high performance client CPUs. You will be working with team to perform various validation activities on CPU chips and boards in the lab. These activities include analog circuit testing and debug, test software development, circuit board testing, and signal waveform measurements and analysis.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Signal integrity measurements and analysis.
  • Lab data collection and statistical analysis.
  • Lab test software development.
  • Analog circuit testing and debug.
  • Develop and document electrical validation requirements and test for verification of Si designs
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues with hardware/BIOS/Firmware/Operating System implementations and recommend solutions.
  • Use analysis to resolve electronic issues.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree with 3+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree with 2+ years of experience

  • Software development
  • Scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and/or Visual Basic
  • Hardware lab with test equipment, computer systems, and test stations
