Come join Design Engineering Group organization as an analog validation and test engineer you will be working as a member of Analog Validation Engineering AVE team that is responsible for the analog electrical validation and manufacturing test of Intel's next generation leading edge CPUs. The scope of electrical validation and test includes validating and generating test content for the CPU Input Output analog circuits and signals covering Interconnect interfaces on the CPU as well as the board and plugin cards PLL and memory as part of the computer system.

In this role your job responsibility includes but is not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing electrical validation strategy for CPU IO and memory interfaces and perform Si and platform debug to root cause issues and enable robust design fixes
  • Work with hardware BIOS HVM functional teams on implementations and recommend solutions
  • Develop validation script with Si DFX features and platform hooks
  • Use standard lab equipment for measurement and characterization
  • Automate test systems to complete EV execution Interact with cross functional teams to provide electrical health assessment
  • Design KIT PreSi Validation HVM test and others as part of the whole EV process

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering or Physics or Computer Engineering or another relevant field and 3+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or Computer Engineering or another relevant field and 3+ months of experience in:

  • Analog Circuit
  • Software development
  • Python/C

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High-speed hardware design including schematic capturing and layout design
  • Signal integrity and power delivery network
  • High-speed analog and digital circuits of IO Experience in mixed signal design validation RTL design and-or scripting in pre or post Si environment
  • Hardware lab with test equipment computer systems and-or test stations.
