At Apple, we work hard to build services that enrich people's lives. Our Media Engineering position helps with the day-to-day support of our Fitness+ Studio. Your work allows our multi-cam studio to continually operate; enabling the creation of world-class content that helps our friends, family and customers to live a healthier and longer life! We are looking for a Media Engineer who's excited to learn about and support both the hardware and software for our studio, post-production and delivery pipelines. Responsibilities range from providing on-the-spot support for the studio to architecting and deploying new technology and workflows. You will have an opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry and play a meaningful role in the support of existing and new technologies.

Key Qualifications

  • You can provide both clear and effective communications, and enjoy working in a collaborative problem-solving environment with fellow teammates
  • You enjoy working in a high-demand and fast-paced environment
  • You have 3+ years providing technical support and troubleshooting for live-to-air, live-to-tape, or post-production environments
  • You can provide flexibility with your work schedule and fill in on occasional weekends and off-hours productions as required
  • You are excited to learn about and improve the current technologies that enable the success of the Fitness+ Studio
  • You can self-initiate and run your own tasks and projects with little guidance from your team or leadership
  • You can raise studio and vendor issues when the need presents itself.

Description

You will be responsible for some of the day-to-day on-demand support of the studio and post-production teams and infrastructure. This includes work with cinema grade cameras, lens, video and audio signal path, camera robotics, various software applications running across macOS, Windows and Linux operating systems. You will be encouraged to effectively manage your time enabling you to deliver on projects and tasks with relatively little delay.

Education & Experience

2-5 years of technical support experience in live-to-air, live-to-tape or post-production environment
Solutions-based, team player
Multi-cam studio experience preferred, but not required
