The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TE&EC) includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test on all Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.
The candidate will participate on engineering teams performing design, development and integration of RMD test products within the TE&EC. As such, the candidate will contribute to the development of all stages of test product development for RMD products. The candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical tasks and coordinating with other functional areas to ensure the quality and reliability of TE&EC products.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required Skills & Education:
  • Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Must be either currently pursuing degree or degree must have been granted in the last 18 months
  • Experience with computer-aided design software Creo Parametric and/or comparable CAD modeling products
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:
  • ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard,3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Experience applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing methods
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to perform successfully in an environment with frequent and direct interaction with customers and peers
  • Good communication, interpersonal, planning and time management skills
  • Customer oriented and driven to meet or exceed expectations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively in a diverse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
