Apple News team is looking for a talented Marketing Operations Specialist with a background in digital marketing specifically within subscription based services. We work in a dynamic environment developing innovative and creative marketing campaigns and user journeys for a global audience. If you enjoy tracking and optimizing campaigns to maximize performance and reach, and are passionate about using data to make better marketing strategy decisions, this could be a great opportunity for you!

The ideal candidate brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing operations and execution. You should have experience in online services be comfortable working with subscription based services at scale. Your primary focus will be to execute on marketing strategies, build and roll out campaigns and track their performance closely. This role requires a highly motivated self starter who is detail oriented, highly thorough and passionate about growing Apple Services.

Key Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years in Marketing role, ideally in subscription based services environment, from campaign ideation and strategy to tracking, operations and project management
  • Hands-on experience with marketing CRMs system such as Salesforce or others
  • Proven track record of building and maximizing campaigns to improve ROI
  • Experience using Excel and/or professional tools to perform analysis and reporting and presentation
  • Experience working in an environment with users at scale and high-stakes
  • Passion for marketing in order to change the status-quo with data and strong execution across multiple groups
  • Great cross-group collaboration and communication skills, you are a self-starter and big-picture problem solver
  • Identify KPIs and optimizing improving them.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization

Description

As one of our Marketing Ops Specialists, you should be extremely adaptable, with experience in a business or company where conditions change rapidly with autonomy and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.

We work in a constantly evolving and dynamic environment with the ability to find opportunities, make informed and measured decisions, and have the vision to build scalable programs and the attention-to-detail to successfully implement.

You will be responsible for the marketing operations of Apple's News+subscription service, internationally. You will sit on the larger Digital Marketing team, who collectively work across all LOBs and digital marketing functions with a performance-driven ethos. You will represent media's needs in creative concepting sessions, campaign kickoffs, and leadership meetings related to the Apple News service. This person should bring experience running A/B tests and measuring their effectiveness. You will be working with engineering and product teams to implement new features, providing feedback and requirements on software that powers marketing tools. This role will act as a blend between strategy and execution from a marketing standpoint with the ability to be a standout colleague and to influence and drive decision making for the group as a whole. You are also fiercely independent and thrive while working autonomously when needed. Ultimately, your success will be measured by the team's ability to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement through digital campaigns.

Education & Experience

BA/BS preferred, or equivalent work experience
