Apple is in search of a talented, ambitious and motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years of marketing experience to join the marketing team in Culver City. This person will work across the Apple Music and Apple Podcast Marketing teams to support key content priorities, compile and communicate key insights, support key music endemic partner priorities, and support the broader music and podcast marketing team in brief writing, asset distribution, comms, logistics and more.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in support roles in the entertainment and/or marketing space.
  • Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment.
  • Consistent track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions.
  • Possess a "can-do" attitude for all situations with the belief that no task is too big or too small to handle.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, and strong sense of professionalism.
  • Ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues upward, and when to apply common sense.
  • An understanding for the development of marketing plans and programs. Entertainment marketing experience a plus.
  • Experience on-boarding new employees and training new team members.
  • Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and complete discretion.
  • Experience with managing calendars, scheduling meetings, travel coordination, and submitting expense reports.
  • Ability to stay diplomatic in stressful situations
  • You are results-oriented, upbeat, and focused with a strong passion to learn and succeed.
  • Hunger to learn, grow, and contribute to key content and artist marketing plans and priorities.
  • Proficient in Keynote with strong presentation abilities

Description
- This role will interface with our business teams, partner relations teams, artist relations team, and with PR, to ensure that every component of our marketing campaigns roll-out at the right times.
- Collect, consolidate, and organize assets to be shared with both internal and external approvers for sign-off.
- Responsible for coordinating assets across marketing channels, as well as working with artist marketing to ensure that partners and artists are actively (and correctly) marketing Apple Music.
- This role works closely with our Affiliate and Tools team and will be responsible for evangelizing the marketing components of key artist programs.
- Be the point of contact for team operational needs, including ordering equipment when needed, on-boarding our new-hires and interns, coordination of larger team meetings, involvement in space-planning, etc...
- Capture meeting notes for key marketing meetings.
- Contribute ideas to brainstorm sessions.
- Manage artist social media requests across the team and liase with social team.
- Manage priority calendars and delivery timelines across the team.
- Write creative briefs.
- Manage code creation tool for music-endemic programs.
- Create tracking links for marketing campaign reporting

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree required
