Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) creates market-leading programmable and custom logic devices, and we are looking for a Manufacturing Product Development Team (PDT) Lead / Program Manager to join our team. The PDT Lead is responsible for the overall program management activities in the manufacturing new product introduction (NPI) domain.

The role of the PDT Lead affects the project outcome in a significant way. You will be working on PSG's newest products with the goal of getting them to market on or ahead of schedule. It is a very broad role requiring the expertise to juggle between many vectors. Experience in leading in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities is ideal. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:

  • Schedule - Integrate multiple timelines to establish the overall post-silicon schedule. Ensure coordinated execution across activity pockets, with particular emphasis on factory related support. Track, anticipate and manage schedule risks.
  • Manufacturing Readiness - Ensure alignment and readiness across the board for new product Power On, engineering sample (ES), product qualification (PDQ), and volume ramp.
  • Supply - Drive detailed collection of supply requirements and coordinate all aspects of supply fulfilment in the ES phase. Analyze and recommend wafer starts for manufacturing. Roll up and publish yields and test times. Work with the factory to reconcile gaps to supply.
  • Line Item Management - Own the creation of new stock keeping units / line items.


Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience in product, test and/or manufacturing engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience managing NPI projects with complex interdependencies. Experience with the different swimlanes and requirements for NPI.
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain planning
  • 1+ years of experience in architecting solutions to supply issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years or more semiconductor industry experience in product, test and/or manufacturing engineering. Expert in 1 or 2 sub-domains within manufacturing
  • Leadership experience preferably as an advanced functional or project manager
