Job Description: This is a second shift position which includes a 8% added pay differential.
Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods. They analyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support these customer requirements. You would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Planning and incorporation of design changes
Creating and overseeing projects using risk management techniques
Translating engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation
Dispositioning of discrepant hardware
Leading corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Developing tooling concepts
Technical interfacing with customers and suppliers
Providing technical leadership to multi-disciplined teams
Developing work cell layouts and critical lift processes
Conducting safety / ergonomic assessments
Generating and maintaining labor standards
This position will require interaction with senior personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and / or suppliers with some travel required.

Required Skills:
2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
Manufacturing Process and Procedure Development and Maintenance
Specialized Tooling Development (Jigs, Fixtures, Specialized Packaging Development)
Experience with related military and industry standards and specifications disposition non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis
Design for Test and Design for Automation
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint)

Experience with automated tooling, machinery and programming
Experience with Refurbishment and Repair requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
Detail oriented with strong coordination skills
Experience with MRL and TRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level and Technology Readiness Level) Assessments
Ability to contribute in a team settings as well as individually
Solid understanding of configuration management practices
Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines
Ability to work with minimum direct supervision
Qualified Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent
Active DoD Clearance (Secret)
Master's degree preferred
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
