Our team inspires our customers to discover, to learn about and to buy Apple products, services, and accessories through merchandising that delivers a personalized experience like no other!

The Manager leads and manages the creation of the global merchandising product and visual strategy for our hero, services, accessories products across our Retail stores worldwide. This role partners closely with teams across Apple and within the merchandising organization to align and evolve our global strategies outstanding customer experience that amplify our strategic brand and product focuses.

  • Process-oriented, with ability to flex from high-level strategy to fine attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with creative teams in corporate environment (desired).
  • 10+ years of demonstrated ability and 3-5 years of leadership experience.


Develop and coach a passionate and focused team, set goals for workflow, model collaboration across groups, and develop organizational capability. Set direction to establish an inspired Retail experience. Identify and communicate key priorities and responsibilities to generate drive for results, teamwork and achieving business goals. As part of our WW Extended Merchandising team, provide guidance and coaching across the organization, including Geos, Field & Engagement, and Product Merchandising.

Provide your team and partners with recognition, feedback and development opportunities, building effective teams. Challenge and empower team members to achieve business and customer objectives. Communicate inspired team vision and purpose.

Build and drive global WW Visual Merchandising strategy for all Hero products, that highlight brand storytelling, build customer engagement, and create owners. Partnering with Geo-based teams and Field Merchandising teams to incorporate global considerations and customer feedback into merchandising strategy.

Close collaboration with key apple partners across Product Marketing, ID and Marcom to deliver product presentation strategies that optimize and deliver on our brand priorities. Collaborate with the Online store to align on brand positioning across major product categories.

Drive profitability and accuracy in product range to space allocation, and continually innovate Merchandising strategy to support the needs and growth of the business, with Product Marketing, Finance, and Market Development partners.

Inspire team to produce new and creative initiatives, evolve visual layouts and build immersive customer experiences utilizing planograms, demo experiences, and customer journey as tools.

Develop and coordinate operational plans for product launches and major store resets. Lead partnership, process improvement, and decision-making across cross-functional teams, including Ops Readiness, Product Marketing, Retail Marketing, Retail Ops, Finance, Retail Technology, Store Operations, RFO, SDM, etc.

Supervise the creation and update of macro plans for stores for all hero and accessory programs. Drive analytical approach and informed decision making, generating measurable business impact. Regularly meet and prioritize initiatives and workflow with all managers across Merchandising and GRS. Regular presentations and interactions to senior leadership within Retail and Apple Inc.

Lead overarching vision for major resets and launch moments, driving holistic journey across store, and accessories integration into larger retail events.

Additional Requirements

  • MBA and Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or related degree preferred) or industry equivalent experience.
