Join Apple Retail as a key member of the Apple Online team, reporting to the head of Retail Online DE&E Analytics. As the Manager of Online Data & Analytics, you will lead a team of Data Scientists, Data Architects and Data Engineers that are responsible for supporting the Apple Online business and marketing teams, as well as the broader Retail Stores organization with outstanding data driven insights.

Key Qualifications

  • Ability to build and operate a center of excellence team to deliver business insights at scale using the latest data architecture & re-usable analytics assets for broader consumption within team.
  • Expert level knowledge of applied regression techniques including, but not limited to: Linear, Logistic, Mixed models, Distributed Lags, Time Series, GLM & Simultaneous Equations.
  • Experience with big data computing and machine learning techniques (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Scikit-learn in Python, etc.).
  • Experience with advance analytic solutions focused on performance measurement, customer insights & media planning (attribution, forecasting, base & incremental analysis, market basket analysis, purchase probability, etc.).
  • Expertise in the development of marketing mix models to analyze and simulate the incremental impact of digital and offline marketing.
  • You can conceptualize and deploy the analysis to measure interaction effects of various marketing channels during product launches, promotions and business as usual time periods.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in synthesizing sophisticated analysis into simple, meaningful and measurable insights.
  • Validated ability to be effective in virtual team leadership, and leading through influence. Outstanding collaborator.
  • Experience building, motivating, developing and encouraging a team.
  • Consistent track record of initiating and leading cross-functional and cross-organizational projects, building relationships with partners, and influencing decision makers.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Outstanding ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness, while maintaining utmost attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting eCommerce and Digital Marketing partners.

Description

The Online Analytics team is responsible for providing insights and analytical solutions to Digital Marketing and Marcom, Online Merchandising and eCommerce commercial teams, Online Product Management, Retail Real Estate as well as Finance partners.

We are seeking an experienced senior professional to lead a team and build a center of excellence for online analytics for supporting multiple business functions within Apple Retail organization. The CEO teams includes sophisticated analytics, data architecture & engineering teams. This team is task with development of analytics solutions, scalable data architecture and building re-usable analytics library for scalable implementation for performance measurement and activation of insights to improve customer experience and make a direct impact on business outcomes.

This individual is highly proficient with e-commerce analytics, sophisticated analytics and data architecture & engineering experience. This individual is great in turning data discoveries into analytical insights that drive business and customer outcomes and requires a mix of high level leadership and deep experience advising the activities of a highly applied and results focused team.

You are skilled analytically and have a deep understanding of the businesses you support. You will be a thought partner to your business partners, understand their goals and objectives, and then use your analytical skills and tools to surface meaningful insights.

We seek someone with a strong business demeanor and outstanding technical skills, while possessing the ability to condense sophisticated analysis and technical concepts into clear and concise takeaways for business leaders.

Education & Experience

Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, applied social sciences, engineering, or mathematics.

Additional Requirements

  • - 10+ years of experience in the Marketing Science & Advance analytics space.
  • - 5+ years of experience with big data computing and machine learning techniques
  • - 5+ years of people management experience.
