Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications
In Print Production, we bring creative concepts to life in multiple print mediums. As the Manager of Print Production, Events, you will bring a positive attitude and are a dedicated leader who can amplify, motivate and grow a high-performing team.
We are key partners in producing 2D elements on behalf of Apple. Our goal is to deliver work that exceeds the exacting visual standards of one of the most beloved and empowering brands in the world. We produce a range of work includes, but is not limited to, pre-press, packaging, large corporate event graphics, collateral projects, advertising, retail window and in-store graphics, signage, gift cards, and premiums

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years relevant print production management experience within a creative agency or production environment including a minimum 4-7 years of growing managerial responsibilities
  • Experience leading a team of production professionals and are known for coaching, training and career development
  • Deep print production expertise, strong purchasing and project management skills and a genuine love of taking on the challenge of maintaining schedules and budgets for all pre-press and printed materials on various substrates
  • Expert-level color analysis skills and extensive experience working pre-press in RGB and CMYK with an eye towards quality and detail
  • You thrive on learning and bring your deep understanding and expertise in image creation from CGI and photography through retouching approval and final file delivery
  • You have the ability to interpret the best resolution and workflow outcomes from complex files scenarios
  • Strong ability to facilitate creative art direction, ensuring accurate interpretation and follow-through on multiple assets and versions
  • Functional ability in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to accurately assess imagery and application for various project scenarios
  • You have in-depth familiarity with large and small format litho and inkjet printing, dye-sublimation, and specialty finishing techniques
  • Extensive on-press experience and expertise in all aspects of 2D production
  • You are comfortable establishing specs, estimating and/or competitively bidding all projects, maintaining budgets; communicating any obstacles that would require additional funding; conducting negotiations with suppliers as necessary
  • Domestic and international travel, often at short notice, is one of the most exciting aspects of this job
