Come and join Intel. We are seeking highly qualified Software Validation Test Engineers to join our world class Ethernet Product Group (EPG) under Connectivity Group. We assure and deliver leadership Ethernet products that delight our customers with best-in-class performance, quality, and support. You will join a best-in-class validation team relentlessly driving the highest quality of EPG products with the most optimal cost via continuous improvement, learning and product mindset.

Builds machine learning based products/solutions, which provide descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, or prescriptive models based on data. Uses or develops machine learning algorithms, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, and others, to solve applied problems.

In this position, you will apply your AI/ML experience to transform how we validate Intel network products. You will be responsible for but not limited to conceiving, researching, and prototyping AI/ML software assisting validation team to predict defect trends, area; assisting test contents creation and apply intelligence to weed out less effective content; auto triaging or bucketing test failures (and other telemetry) and you will develop relevant software and technologies stemming from machine learning research. This requires a solid understanding of EPG network products (specifically network drivers). Additionally, this requires some familiarity with techniques in machine learning, deep learning, or reinforcement learning, and relevant software frameworks.

You are expected to maintain substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles, theories, and practices. You may also participate in the development of intellectual property.

Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/class projects and or research.


  • Masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a relevant engineering discipline

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience AI/ML training classes and or class project
  • 2+ years of Python programming language
  • 3+ years of experience root cause analysis with advanced statistical methods

Preffered Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. prefererred
